Hey, Jammers! I’m Celebrati0n, and today we’re going over the newest Animal Jam update!
Some very adorable Love Bunnies have hopped into Jamaa! How could you not love this little
guy? The perfect pet for the Friendship Festival! These cuties are quite similar to the older
bunny pets, but they have a sweet little heart on their heads, and some different friendship
themed items in the Pet Stop! And they can be purchased for gems! Awesome, right?
Next, Chinese New Year has rolled around, bringing with it all the fun festivities. This year
celebrates the pig, which means you can find all sorts of cool pig items at the Chinese New
Year party! You must have a pig to enter the party, but luckily Jamaa’s pigs are available for all
Jammers for only five diamonds!
Now, New Year’s Fortune, the seasonal adventure celebrating Chinese New Year, has returned
to Jamaa! In this fun adventure, you must hunt for red envelopes filled with gems and exclusive
items! It may seem hard, but you’ll see when you enter the adventure that a kind little dragon
has decided to aid you in finding these treasures.
Moving on, we have another seasonal adventure ready to play! Special Delivery, the adventure
celebrating the Friendship Festival in Jamaa has returned! In this adventure you’ll be helping Rose the owl deliver some valentines to the animals of Jamaa in exchange for some fun
friendship themed items! With the Friendship Festival also comes the return of the Friendship
Party! Get ready to have some fun with your buddies at this cool party!
Lastly, we have Safer Internet Day on February 5th! A day dedicated to staying safe online with
your friends! Lots of banners have been scattered about Jamaa. Click them to learn helpful tips

Thursday Update: 100,000,000 Jammers
Good Thursday evening, Jammers! Today is September 13th, 2018. Yet another update day! This week AJHQ has released plenty of new announcements and an important milestone for Wildworks as a company and Animal Jam as a game.
On the first page of the Jamaa Journal, AJHQ reminds Jammers that the Bounce House is now for sale once again in the Diamond Shop!
Next up, an important announcement on the game’s chat system: Safe Chat - Plus for ALL JAMMERS! That means non-members can now switch their account’s chat mode to “Free Chat” (with parent/guardian permission via the parent dashboard).
If you are unsure how to do this. simply have your parent go to the “Parents” tab on the homepage, log in to the parent dashboard (using the email linked to your account) and change over the chat mode to “Safe Chat - Plus”! If your parents are skeptical, you can reassure them that the chat system is still safely moderated and filtered. For more on AJHQ’s safety policies, click here!
Next up in the Jamaa Journal is a game-changing feature. AJHQ has released the FIRST NEW NON-MEMBER LAND DEN! Previously, only the small house and sunken ship were available to players without membership. Now, there are two to chose from! Although the layout of the dens are the same, we may expect more non-member den updates in the future. Not only is this den non-member, but it' is a seasonal recreation. The first of it’s kind! It makes us on the Archives team wonder… will there be more of these seasonal releases?
Of course this event isn’t completely out of the blue; AJHQ is celebrating their ONE HUNDRED MILLION PLAYER MILESTONE! In case that sounds like an insane number- it most certainly is. How big is it exactly? Well, take a look at all of the banners around Jamaa!
Don’t forget, Jammers, September 22nd is World Rhino Day! To honor these majestic endangered animals, be sure to pick up a pet rhino for 2 diamonds or show your support by buying a rhino for only 500 gems for the next two weeks. On the penultimate (second to last) page of the Journal, AJHQ makes a few statements on their change of seasonal adventures; by the next update, Tiki Trouble will no longer be in the adventures tab. However, the annual special Halloween pet adventure, Bitter Sweets, will take its place!
Finally, a few words about the beloved Diamond Shop. Autumn armor will now be sold in stores! And of course, the 100,000,000 banners are now on display in every land in Jamaa.

Update Thursday & Wild Weekend
Good Thursday afternoon, Jammers! Today is yet another update day for AJHQ, and they are releasing all kinds of fantastic news for the game and the lore of Jamaa! Let's dive into the Journal.
First up, the new Wild Weekend sale theme! This week, Prank Weekend is here; you can get all sorts of prank den items in the Diamond Shop along with some wacky new clothing items! All den items are 1 diamond each, and buying a full set of the clothing items only costs 9 diamonds!
Of course you'll need a new animal to put all these crazy clothes on. Introducing the Autumn Coyote! Similar to the Spring Bunny and Polar Arctic Fox, this animal has its own aura of colorful leaves! All of the same actions of a regular coyote, just with a unique pattern (and better eyeliner). Looking for some assets of these new coyotes? Click HERE to go to our latest asset page.
Now, for anyone following Animal Jam lore, this part of the update might interest you! Many things about Juno have been revealed, including a message from the ancient hero themselves... plus, notes from the current Alphas Graham and Peck, and a new shop within the temple!
They reveal that in order to protect multiple packs within the area in a war with the Phantoms, Juno locked themself in the temple to protect Balloosh, sealing the land with their own powers and turning to stone. Who are these new maysterious figures: Star and Fang?
Aside from the tragic story of Juno's transformation, all Jammers can still honor the great hero with these new den items in the new store: Ancient Treasures. There are 6 new Juno-themed items including their own flag!
However, this code Juno mentions is no joke! Be sure to redeem the code "Juno" in settings for a Hidden Juno statue!
Next up, Animal Jam announces the celebration of National Honeybee Day! All Jammers can get a pet bee and learn about them by clicking on fact banners around Jamaa! Don't forget to check out Jam Mart Furniture for plenty of bee-themed items such as honey combs and bee boxes.
The following page mentions a new exhibit in the Conservation Museum: Wild Peaks! While it doesn't tell us about the Alphas, it's a fantastic way to learn about new animals and their habitats. On an unrelated note but the same Journal page, double gems can be earned when you play Sky High this week.
And finally, a surprise announcement of new items to come in an abstract theme! Plus a little reminder that school is on the way, and many buddies are yet to be met!

Thursday Update: Wild Weekend and Juno the Ancient Alpha!
Hey Jammers! Elvis3480 here to report all of the latest happenings in Jamaa, starting with the Jamaa Journal!
On the first page, news of this weeks' Wild Weekend sale! From these waterpark themed items will only be available from today, Thursday, to Sunday in the diamond shop. Be sure to pick up all of these awesome summer items for your waterpark dens!
Next up, reports from the Alphas! The arctic wolf statue being investigated in the Temple of the Ancients is none other than Juno, the arctic wolf Alpha. There have been many theories surrounding the statue but it has been revealed that the Ancient hero once fought of phantoms alongside sabertooth cats and dire wolves. They also happen to be Jamaa's first nonbinary hero! Cosmo has left a note by the foot of the statue about how he senses the great power within the temple and wonders how the statue was built. Graham leaves a letter nearby suggesting an investigation of the materials and construction of the temple and the statue. It all seems too new...
A new lore page is yet to come to the Archives, so stay tuned!
On the next page, it is announced that the Crystal Palace will be returning to the Diamond Shop! This den has a wonderful crystal blue theme and works great for making palace dens, schools, or even extravagant adventure hideouts!
On the 4th page, as some of you Jammers might've guessed, you'll learn that TIKI TROUBLE is back! In this awesome timed adventure you and 3 other buddies can search the tropical islands for items to bring back to the tiki statues that guard the island for pearls. Bring these pearls to Tavie, and you'll receive a prize! Not only will the dolphin alpha give you tropical den items, you can find plenty of chests around the islands! Some hidden in caverns, others floating in the water.
Next up, you'll see the back-to-school party has come back on the queue! Be sure to drop by this party for some snazzy items! It just so happens to be available every 3 hours so keep track of the bell schedule!
And on the final page, AJHQ has announced their newest animal coming to Jamaa! Autumn coyotes will soon be available in the Diamond shop!

Thursday Updates & Wild Weekend
Good afternoon, Jammers! As you may know, every Thursday AJHQ releases exclusive items in themes for "Wild Weekends". Every other week, AJHQ updates the game with new features, animals, lands, adventures, and more! You can find most of this information in the Jamaa Journal. Here's what the weekly newspaper has in store:
On the first page, there's an announcement of the new Block Party Wild Weekend! You can now get barbecue themed items for a delicious cookout in your den! All of the items are available in the Diamond shop from today, July 19th, until Sunday, July 22nd.
On the next page, an announcement from the Alphas! Liza and Sir Gilbert have been exploring Balloosh and are curios about the arctic wolf statue inside the temple. They believe there may be more to the ancient history of Jamaa than the recovery of two heartstones.
Although the Alphas haven't shared all of their discoveries with Jamaa, there were two journal pages left behind in the temple.

On a lighter note, a party update! The Beta Party and its exclusive shop will be returning to Jamaa's queue. And not to be forgotten, the Summer Carnival is still open and there are plenty of of games to play, tickets to earn, and summer items to buy!
With all of these new party items, you may be looking for the perfect den to put them in... well you're in luck, becausr the Mushroom has returned to stores! The circular floors make a great flat wall to put beta party items by, and the nature-y summer aesthetic makes for a great June, August, and September seasonal den.
And last but not least, a promo update. Now, instead of the beloved Artist's Dream bundle, falcons have come with the code on the back of your membership card! It is not clear yet what items come with this bundle; whether it be the same furniture set as years past or a new deign.

Today in Jamaa History: Seaside Urbanization
Hey Jammers! It's Yellow here again. Today I've got a very exciting update to take a look at. It's very hot outside, and I'd like to go to the beach. Luckily, if you were around in 2011 the beach had just been remodeled!

That's right! Today we're looking at the update of Crystal Sands. Before I even talk about the update, we need to go back one day further to July 6th. What did Crystal Sands look like then?
Now that's very different, and a sudden transition as well! The land lost a lot of it's plant life and those handsome tiki heads... Now, what did AJHQ think they needed to highlight about this change?
The water slides of course! And with waterslides, came a new water park den! I quite like this den, although I wish it was bigger. (AJHQ, expanded water park for diamonds please. Make it happen!) Of course, to get the new den you were going to need alot of gems, and AJHQ had just the solution for you.
The daily spin was first spun on this day seven years ago! The Jamaa Journal brags that you can earn 1500 gems in one day, but these days, that doesn't mean all that much. Inflation is fun, isn't it?
Majorclaw must have been pretty happy with this update, they finally got an astronaut helmet! But most jammers were very disappointed to hear about the closure of coral corner. I wish that shop was still here. So many nice items... At least they had a sale! They had better clearance prices than Toys R Us I bet.

Thursday Updates: Wild weekend & Enchanted Eagles
Good morning, Jammers! Elvis here to report this week's Thursday Updates. Every other Thursday, AJHQ releases new features, items, adventures, or animals to play as!
On the first page of the Jamaa Journal, a new Wild Weekend is announced! For the next 4 days, until Sunday, Popsicle-themed items will be available in the Diamond Shop! There are six den items for 1 diamond each, plus a full clothing set for 9 diamonds.
The second page of the Journal announces the arrival of Enchanted Eagles in Jamaa. These are similar to Polar Arctic Foxes and Spring Bunnies, but instead of snowflakes or daises, these eagles have roses printed on their feathers and swirling around wherever they go! Want assets? In addition to this new flying animal, a rather flight-less pet counterpart has come to Jamaa! Pet Dodo birds are now available in the Diamond shop for 3 diamonds. These little prehistoric pals are quite adorable!
With all this talk of birds, the Conservation Museum has opened their new exhibit: Taking Flight! Head over to Appondale to learn more about the great species of the sky.
And last but not least, in the back of the Jamaa Journal you'll find info on the new Artist's Dream Bundle! This package contains art-themed clothing and den items when a 3 month membership is purchased. From what we've heard on the Archives, this may be AJHQ's best release yet!
