Hello jammers! The members of the archives have compiled a list of tips to help new jammers navigate the world of Jamaa! Here are 10 tips to help you get started:
When creating a username make it unique and you! My favorite username prompts relate to my favorite animals, colors, or pop culture! Make sure to not include any personal information such as addresses, real names, and other important information in your username. For passwords, make it unique and include a combination of letters and numbers!
Collect gems and sapphires through playing games! Check the quests in the side tab of the game icon and there are many sapphire rewards to claim which is enough to buy your first animal, den, or pet! You can collect so many gems by playing these games even after you collect all your sapphires!
You can get a free pet in a side tab (to the right side of the screen by settings) on your Animal Jam game! The pet can be a dog or cat that can be customized by randomization.
Watch the guides on Animal Jam to help you navigate games and to find more tips! You can find these in theaters around Jamaa as well as in the game tab when you press on the game you want to play. Tutorials are made by Animal Jam HQ and Jambassadors!
Get involved with community games! If you follow jambassadors or Animal Jam on Instagram, Youtube, or read the Daily Explorer, there are a bunch of parties and contests to get you more involved and to grow your account.
Utilize the bubble or unfiltered chat! Even if you only use bubble chat, you can still get involved with the community through trading and games. There are popular and useful phrases to use: “do you want to trade?” “can we be buddies” and so on!
Redeem prizes through codes in the settings tab! Throughout the year Animal Jam may create a free redeemable code for you to use to get whatever gift may be inside.
There is a 7-day free trial for players! While you do have to put in a card to get it working, it is a great option to test out member features before buying.
You can buy membership with 600 sapphires! A lot of jammers don’t know you can go to the sapphire shop and in the member section of the store you can pay for membership using in-game currency.
Non-members can join packs too! It is such an amazing way to meet jammers with the same interests as you, get cool featured items each month, and support your favorite Alpha!
