How To & Tips – Lucky Day Outfits

Hello there, Jammers! Are you looking for some tips to create a fantastic Celtic outfit? Look no further, here you are.

To start off my outfits, I usually create a new animal. You can choose any animal you want, and experiment with as many as you’d like, but my animal of choice is the tiger.

The species and name I choose all goes into the factor of what I envision the character to look like, as well as why I am making the character. For example, I love how the tiger looks in most items, so I chose the tiger as my species. With my name, I see the “Hopeful” as in the character is dreaming of winning a spiked collar or wristband, and the “Happyfella” as part of their personality– cheerful.

When I have created my animal, I prefer to start out with a little trick I like to call the “mannequin technique.” Like the in-game mannequins that were recently added to the game, using a white base helps me focus on the items and not the colors.

One exception to this technique are secret colors, such as the eye color of my tiger. I chose to keep this secret color, as I knew that if I changed it to white then I wouldn’t be able to obtain it again. Why I chose this green is because I felt it fit in with the general color of the beginning of spring & the shade of some clovers in the game.

The final step I usually take, before I decide if I want to add a pet to my finished product or not, is adding the items and splashing on some color. All of the items on my outfit are ones you can buy in stores, or were previously in shop, which is handy for those who don’t have much items. The items I used are a leprechaun hat, a clover tie, clover shoulder armor, rare clover gauntlets, and princess tail ribbons.

The colors are one of the most important things in an outfit, they can convey what you were thinking while making the outfit and work as a finishing touch. Color schemes are also very important, as well as the matching colors in the outfit. When I make an outfit, the primary color I usually choose is one from the bottom row or first column, possibly from the browns as well, and I work the rest of the colors around the colors on the items.

The varying eye shapes and pattern designs also add to the outfit, both can show your style in a variety of ways. I have personally experimented with many of the eye and pattern shapes, and I like adding unique or “uncommon” shapes to show my creativity!

This is my finished Lucky Day outfit, in which I put some time and creativity into. Remember, when making your outfits, be sure to be unique!
